GreenSpaces – GreenSpaces is an undertaking by the experienced management team of the Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park (PBC) and EcoTrust Capital Advisors. Established in 1990, PBC is a Government of India approved Infrastructure service provider and a private Software Technology Park (STP). It is one of the first fully serviced office spaces in the country, based on “Green building” and “instant office” concepts. PBC provides 50,000 square feet of office space in various modules and operates over 28 different support services employing over 550 people. |

| Any other related information which may be useful for the Trade. | Today, buildings consume over 40% of all energy consumed globally, much of which is wasted. By 2025, buildings will be the single largest energy consumers and emitters of greenhouse gasses on our planet.
Our mission at GreenSpaces™ is to reshape the way commercial buildings are designed and built with the goal to reduce the impact of buildings on the environment, minimize energy requirements, and contribute to social development and sustainability. We will demonstrate that via technology, lifestyle changes, and design innovation, we can economically reduce building energy consumption by over 75%. Our flagship project, a well connected 8.25 acre / 1.75 million ft2 office park to be located in NCR Delhi on a Delhi Metro Rail stop, is projected to be the world’s greenest and most energy-efficient commercial building, through such innovations as 100% waste and water reclamation, instrumentation and interconnection of all systems, recharging ports for electric cars, and ventilated chairs. We even plan to “grow” our own oxygen and remove harmful compounds from the air through the strategic use of indoor vegetation — which doesn’t just help the environment; it also helps people think and be more productive while reducing energy costs. According to a comprehensive study conducted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in June 2009, GreenSpaces’ proposed design will achieve 74.4% reduction in the Energy Performance Index (EPI) i.e. energy use per unit area for a green building. 41 million kWh of energy will be saved per year, approximately 36,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions shall be avoided on the demand side, and even more from generation of 1 MW from Photo Voltaic (PV) and electricity produced from waste. |
