GreenSpaces Challenge – Call to Action

Today, buildings use 40% of the world’s total energy consumption. GreenSpaces project currently saves 74.4% energy and the objective is to increase this while reducing cost.

GreenSpaces Challenge invites creative and innovative ideas, products or services that will reduce cost and /or improve energy efficiency.

If you got Ideas and Thoughts that can minimize the impact of commercial buildings on the environment, submit here before 30th September 2010.

What is in it?
Once ideas are short listed for review by our team, you will be intimated on the email registered with us.
The most appropriate ideas will be reviewed and tested, for example by simulation, etc. Based on the results, winning ideas will be implemented in the GreenSpaces project and the contributors will be invited to be technology partners for GreenSpaces.

GreenSpaces is designed to showcase the world’s most energy efficient commercial building of > 1.75 million ft2 built up area, a Flagship project of the Asia Pacific Partnership of seven countries – Australia, Canada, China, Japan, India, South Korea and USA. It will serve as a Role model for all sustainable buildings.

GreenSpaces’s mission:
* To reshape how buildings are designed, built and managed in the future for achieving a happy, healthy and productive working/living environment
* Achieve > 80% energy savings over standard ‘A’ grade buildings by leveraging technologies and innovation
